Dr. Randy Sun, a dentist who lives in the Lakeport, CA area, owns a 2003 Toyota RAV4-EV, as well as two Toyota Prius hybrid-electric (drivetrain) vehicles. The RAV4-EV is charged at Randy's home, where he has installed a grid-intertied photovoltaic system; thus, the RAV4 is charging from a blend of 0-100% solar, with the remaining portion, if any, being taken from the grid.
