The Caplan's Ford Ranger EV
The Caplan's OEM Ford Ranger EV is the household daily driver. The Caplan's charge at home, where they have an Avcon charging station mounted at the end of their driveway. The first shot shows the charging door on the front of the vehicle is open and the Avcon paddle is inserted for charging.
The rear shot shows the covered cargo bay (for significantly less wind resistance - something simple many pickup drivers could do to lessen the power required to move the vehicle down the road). Additionally, there are stickers on the rear cab window showing what's important about this vehicle to its owners. The bumper also has a California Clean Air Vehicle carpool lane sticker (ACCESS OK), since OEM electric vehicles are allowed to use the carpool lane in that state.
